In todays world we face a lot of disinformation and misinformation. People are believing and sharing fake news and that can cause a threat to the way our democracies operate. What could be done to tackle this problem? The answer is simple: people need to be trained in information literacy - the ability to think critically about the information we find online and how to verify its authenticity.

In the fight against misinformation, it is important to understand that this is not a technological problem but a societal one and this requires encouraging people to question what they read online. The main solution is to teach people the basics of information literacy. For this reason, "Skeptic Youth" team has created a platform, which provides useful information and tools to develop the necessary skills.
